Fables Around The Table: CONTINUUM
Fables Around The Table is the short form TTRPG anthology series on the Project Derailed podcast network. My first appearance on this series is in the CONTINUUM series in which we play Mothership, the space horror TTRPG by Alan Gerding and Sean McCoy. My character is Jack Pilsner, the home brewing, space weed smoking, cowardly-but-complicated genre savvy pastiche of all the 80’s action movie heroes I grew up with, particularly the ones played by Kurt Russell. This character is very much in the wrong story and knows it. Whether or not ol’ Jack makes it through this story is much like the tagline on an invitation to an open casket funeral: remains to be seen.

Fables Around The Table: GLORY
The kind folks at Project Derailed had so much fun with me in CONTINUUM that they gave me the OK to run a season myself! This season, which I’m calling GLORY, is running in the Old Gods of Appalachia RPG, written by Monte Cook Games and based on the horror anthology podcast of the same name written and performed by Steve Shell and Cam Collins. This season will not require any prior knowledge of the Old Gods of Appalachia universe, although fans of the series will pick up some fun Easter Eggs. This season is a bit of a labor of love for me as, without giving too much away, I will say that I have taken a page out of Steve and Cam’s book of techniques and have resurfaced and fictionalized a town very near and dear to my heart as well as some local folklore. Steve & Cam have also given us permission to use some of their ambient spooky sounds for which we will forever be grateful, and you can buy here!
