You Might Know Me From…

• One Night Strahd, the Dungeons & Dragons module I wrote with Jake Kurzer that won the Silver ENnie for “Best Digital Book” in 2022, featuring breathtaking art from Evangeline Gallagher.

• My voice and acting talents on Project Derailed’s “Fables Around The Table,” a tabletop roleplaying game anthology podcast. In 2023, I played Jack Pilsner in the Continuum season where we play the space horror RPG Mothership. In 2024, they handed me the reins to let me GM and produce a season playing the Old Gods of Appalachia RPG.

• My interviews with chiptune musicians, videogame and tabletop RPG creatives, and general banter as a periodic guest host on geekbeatradio.

• My work behind the scenes for conventions such as MAGFest, Nekocon, RavenCon, Colossalcon (and its sister events Colossalcon East, Ichibancon, and Triad Anime Con) since 2009, doing everything from social media posting, guest coordination, security, event setup, press and photography vetting, and presenting a number of panels.

• Blowing whistles and keeping score for River City Roller Derby, Richmond Virginia’s WFTDA sanctioned roller derby team.

• Almost a decade of writing and editing articles and interviews for the now-retired Chiptunes = WIN Blog, a music blog dedicated to the promotion of and education on chiptunes (music made with or made with software that emulates vintage computers and game consoles)
